DaVonte Lacy out for the season

COUGARS

FROM PULLMAN -- When it rains, it pours. And we're not talking about the weather. Read on.

...

DaVonte Lacy is wearing his warmups and isn't dressed in uniform, and now we know why: he apparently suffered a right knee injury against Washington on Sunday, and will miss the rest of the season. Further details are unavailable at the moment, though coach Ken Bone will likely have more after the game. ... With Mike Ladd still out, too, the guard rotation looks pretty thin. Dexter Kernich-Drew and Will DiIorio are probably the most likely candidates to fill out the starting lineup. Beyond that, the Cougars have walk-ons Bryce Leavitt and Dominic Ballard, and ... well, that's about it. Brett Boese, who is listed as a forward, specializes in 3-point shooting and will likely see some more minutes tonight, as well. ... Would add more here, but we spent the past chunk of time writing a football story and tip-off is almost upon us. So we'll end it here for now.
