Powerful UConn awaits Idaho in NCAA tourney

Idaho, making its first NCAA tournament appearance since 1985, will open Saturday morning against Connecticut at Storrs, Conn. The Vandals, champions of the Western Athletic Conference tournament, were awarded a 16th seed and the always-tough Huskies (29-4) earned the top seed in the Bridgeport Regional.
