We had a couple blog items yesterday, including one with an update (and a story in the newspaper) on the future of coach Ken Bone and when he will have his end-of-year meeting with athletic director Bill Moos. Also, here's a brief post with the dates and times of WSU's spring football practices. ... Howie Stalwick has a story about the future Moos/Bone summit in the Kitsap Sun. ... Former WSU player Patrick Simon helped Seattle Pacific to a D-II tournament victory last night.
Around the Pac-12 ... Washington's C.J. Wilcox gets a homecoming in the Huskies' first-round NIT game at Brigham Young (6:30 p.m., ESPN). ... Stanford also begins its NIT journey tonight with a game against Stephen F. Austin (8 p.m., ESPN2). ... Arizona is trying to block out the talk of an upset in its-first round (second round, whatever) NCAA tournament game. ... UNLV sees its NCAA game against California as a road game. It basically is. ... Colorado guard Spencer Dinwiddie has his hands full defensively in the Buffaloes' first NCAA game. ... A Blazers rookie is a mentor for an Oregon freshman. ... Ben Howland's job may be in jeopardy at UCLA.
