Chiefs capture Game 1

Mitch Holmberg scored twice and Eric Williams made 26 saves Friday night as the Spokane Chiefs opened the Western Hockey League playoffs with a 4-1 win over the Tri-City Americans at the Arena. Game 2 of the best-of-seven series is Saturday at the Arena. Story to come.
