Chiefs, Americans resume series in Kennewick

The pleasant weather in Kennewick conjures up thoughts of baseball, softball and golf, but there's still hockey to be played. The Spokane Chiefs will attempt to take a 3-0 series lead over the Tri-City Americans in the first game of the WHL best-of-seven first-round series at the Toyota Center. Spokane defeated Tri-City Friday and Saturday nights at the Arena. Mitch Holmberg is leading Spokane with four points in the series. He also has 13 goals in his last 14 playoffs games. Game time is 30 minutes away. Americans fans are ready with their cowbells.
