Jorden receives invite to Colts minicamp

Spokane Shock wide receiver Kamar Jorden said Monday he’s been invited to a tryout at the Indianapolis Colts’ rookie minicamp this weekend.

Jorden has 48 receptions for 587 yards and 15 touchdowns – second on the Shock in all three categories behind Adron Tennell. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound AFL rookie spent time in training camp last year with the Minnesota Vikings.

Jorden leaves Thursday morning for the three-day camp. He will miss Spokane’s home game vs. Orlando on Saturday night. Jorden could return to the Shock as early as next week, but that will depend on the outcome of his tryout.
