Wrapping up WSU news

There are a few news items to pass along this morning from WSU, so click the jump to read the links.

The biggest news yesterday was that WSU running back Teondray Caldwell was arrested last week on suspicion of assault and burglary, a story first reported by KQQQ radio in Pullman. We have additional details on the blog and in the newspaper.

WSU also announced yesterday that afternoon classes will be cancelled on Thursday, Oct. 31 to accomodate the arriving crowd for that night's football game against Arizona State. Which is fine, because I wasn't planning to attend class that day, anyway.

Here's our college baseball notebook, leading with an item about WSU playing in Pasco this weekend.

And in the news-but-not-really department, several WSU football players have reactivated their Twitter accounts and indicated that coach Mike Leach's ban on the website has been lifted. So, there's that. CougCenter put together a few examples of the kind of insight to which you can now look forward. WSU football players are no longer beating against the Twitter current, borne back ceaselessly into Facebook (yes, I just saw Great Gatsby). Too much? Too much.
