Dayton first up for Zags

This could end up being the toughest three-game stretch of the season for Gonzaga, which faces a tough, guard-oriented opponent in Dayton tonight and the possibility of two ranked teams, including No. 9 Syracuse, the next two games. The Zags have road dates ahead against West Virginia, Kansas State (in Wichita) and No. 11 Memphis, but the sequence of games before and after probably won't match up with Maui, provided the Zags stay in the winner's bracket.

Here's my look at tonight's matchup. Analysts weigh in on Maui here.

By the way, in Sunday's article on Adam Morrison looking back at that magical 43-point night against Michigan State I mentioned ESPN had put together the five greatest moments in the tournament's history. Here's a link that shows the variety of ways Morrison put the ball in the basket (pull-ups, 3s, mid-range, power move, foul-drawing leaner from the baseline, transition and a nifty jump-hook from just inside the free-throw line). Sports Nation is polling readers on their favorite Maui moment.
