Dayton hands Gonzaga its first loss

It was all going so smoothly for Gonzaga, leading 34-18 late in the first half. Sam Dower Jr. was dominating inside, Przemek Karnowski was doing his part and GU's zone slowed Dayton's offense to a crawl. The Flyers missed 3 after 3 until Jordan Sibert connected with 32 seconds remaining in the half.

From that point on, Dayton took it to the Zags, The Flyers put up 56 points in the second half, holding off a late Gonzaga comeback to upset the Bulldogs 84-79 on Monday night at the Maui Invitational.

Here's my game story. I'll have a day-after post in the a.m. but it'll be an abbreviated one. Tight deadline on this game, leaving just a few minutes for post-game interviews.
