Kevin Pangos has a number of built-in excuses, but he won't use them.

His stats have slipped as Pangos deals with turf toe (for more than two months) and a tender left ankle (off-and-on for the last two weeks). The junior guard discussed the impact those injuries have had on his game in my notebook in today's S-R. Pangos said his right big toe is feeling much better and he can receive treatment on his tender ankle, making him optimistic for a healthier finish to the season.
