Thursday morning Pac-12 links

From Pullman — There were some fireworks in Pullman, and nearly 2,000 people will be able to produce a ticket and say they were there. Most of those people will be lying. Yes, not many were on hand for a midweek game with a late tipoff, but those that were saw DaVonte Lacy score a career-high 39 points and another yeoman's effort from D.J Shelton. However, they also saw another WSU loss.

Because of the late tipoff and the ensuing overtime, the fast-approaching deadline meant we were unable to take video of the post game press conferences. But we have a game story for you, here, and here is a one from the Golden Bears' perspective … On the blog we have video from Ken Bone's Tuesday press conference and a post about some proposed NCAA football rule changes.

More links after the jump.

  • ESPN has some thoughts from coaches, including Mike Leach, who aren't happy with the proposed rule changes.
  • Washington got back in the winning column against Stanford yesterday.
  • The NFL hopes to lure Stanford coach David Shaw.
