Zags wrap up busy week

Gonzaga's Mark Few said earlier this week that every game worries him as a coach. One could see why Saturday's matchup with Pacific would really worry Few.

Pacific is a capable team stocked with seven seniors. The Tigers advanced to the NCAA Tournament last season and opened 2013-14 with an 8-1 record before dropping three of their last four. They'll be motivated to get back on track and show they can compete with the WCC's dominant program.

Meanwhile, Gonzaga is coming off an impressive 73-51 win over rival Saint Mary's on Thursday night. It'll be interesting to see if the Bulldogs can avoid a letdown and summon another spirited effort from a roster still dealing with key injuries.

Here's a short preview that will run in Saturday's S-R.
