Two-sport star to attend WSU

With the above tweet, Jalen Canty of St. Vincent- St. Patrick high school in Vallejo, Calif., declared his intentions to play football at Washington State. Canty, who at one point apparently planned to play basketball at Washington, is expected to play hoops at WSU as well.

At 6-foot-8, 270-pounds Canty has the size, and reportedly has the athleticism, to exceed in either sport. Canty had 76 tackles and 22 sacks in his senior high school season, and reportedly chose WSU over an offer from Utah.

Here is a highlight film showing his football skills, and follow the jump to see some video of him playing basketball, courtesy of YayAreasFinest on Youtube.
