Thursday morning Pac-12 links

From Las Vegas -- Day one of the Pac-12 is in the books and four teams are already out. One of those teams was Washington State, which saw its season end in a thrilling late-night match against Stanford. Here is our story from the game, as well as quotes and video of coach Ken Bone and DaVonte Lacy.  While in town I also covered top-seeded Idaho's blowout of Chicago State in WAC women's action.

In the day's other action, the Huskies also bowed out, Colorado slipped past 12th-seeded USC and Oregon took down rival Oregon State.

Athlon ranked all the FBS coaching jobs and has WSU at the bottom of the Pac-12. Cal is hoping its retooled defense improves. Stewart Mandel's mailbag is always worth one's time.
