Morning links: Halliday’s “whole ankle” broken

Yesterday Washington State held its weekly press conference so we were able to find out the exact nature of Connor Halliday's injury and it's unfortunately a season-ender. We have a story and blog post on that, and it also leads today's notebook.

There was more that came out of yesterday's press conference of course. We have more WSU and Pac-12 links after the jump.

-- We have videos of Mike Leach and a couple players addressing the media yesterday.

-- We handed out unit grades for the USC game yesterday.

-- We also have a first look at WSU's next opponent, Oregon State.

-- Sean Mannion's family members reflect on his journey to becoming the Pac-12's all-time passing leader.

-- Chris Petersen doesn't know if Shaq Thompson should win the Heisman. But he knows he's the best player he's seen all season.

-- Arizona has quite the to-do list following Saturday's loss.

-- Could this year's Arizona State team be even better than last season's?

-- One year after being the Pac-12's worst team California is taking aim at a bowl game.

-- D.D. Goodson put on a show for his family in Colorado's loss.

-- Nick Aliotti wants to see Oregon play Alabama in the playoffs.

-- Stanford just doesn't have the same grit that it used to.

-- UCLA's Myles Jack still prefers the defensive side of the ball.

-- Here's the latest on injured Trojan Su'a Cravens.

-- Utah is still waiting for that passing game to show up.
