Morning links: Cougars return to the practice field

It's football season again. Washington State returned to Martin Stadium to practice in a downpour, and had their starting quarterback with them.

I wrote about WSU's practice in the paper today, and we have some video on the blog of quarterback Luke Falk taking some questions from media. After practice I made my way to Beasley Coliseum to watch the women's basketball team beat Gonzaga.

It was a good day to be Joe Dahl, who was named to a certain list of All-Americans. Dahl has also made plans to play in the Senior Bowl.

Mike Leach made a pretty penny in performance bonuses this season. Leach could have been coaching the Hurricanes, twice. … Brian Anderson takes an early look at WSU's bowl game opponent.
