Morning links: Bowl projections galore

Washington State is rolling and pundits are pondering where the Cougars will go bowling.

Jason Kirk of SB Nation sees the Cougars in the Sun Bowl, as does Jerry Palm of CBS Sports. That means would both have likely had the Cougars in the Foster Farm Bowl in Stanford and Utah had not both lost on Saturday.

In the ESPN projections,Brett McMurphy also has WSU heading to El Paso, while Mark Schlabach has the Cougars in Santa Clara for the Foster Farms Bowl.

The Cougars are ranked for the first time since 2006  and Brian Floyd posits that WSU is the team nobody wants to play. The Cougars checked in at No. 3 in the ESPN Pac-12 power rankings.

In college basketball news, Stanford made short work of Charleston Southern and UCLA finally got in the win column.
