Morning links: Marks a Biletnikoff semifinalist
Before today's weekly live chat, which we will host at 11 a.m., here is our daily collection of news from around the Pac-12.
Washington State's run of success against Pac-12 competition has overshadowed Gabe Marks' remarkable season, just as it should. The best that can come from superlative individual performance is collective prosperity.
It is occasionally appropriate to acknowledge the individuals who excel at such a high level that they have a large impact on the team's overall success, as Marks certainly has this season. The 14 catches against Rutgers, four touchdowns against Arizona and game-winning reception at No. 18 UCLA were each structural bricks in WSU's season. Those efforts were recognized on Tuesday when Marks was named one of 10 semifinalists who still have a shot to win the Biletnikoff Award, which is given to the country's best receiver.
