Washington State forward Josh Hawkinson is one of 10 finalists for the Abdul-Jabbar Award, given to the top center in college basketball.

He is one of three finalists from the Pac-12, joining Utah's Jakob Poeltl and Colorado's Josh Scott. Hawkinson is averaging 15.9 points and 11.0 rebounds per game, and is fifth-nationally with 16 double-doubles.

In March the list of finalists will be further pared to five athletes, who will be presented to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame's selection committee. The winner will be announced at the ESPN College Basketball Awards on Friday, April 8, 2016.
