at San Diego Toreros (8-19, 3-13)

Outlook: Gonzaga clinches at least a share of the WCC title with two wins this week. First up is San Diego, which is coming off an interesting week. The last-place Toreros nearly knocked off visiting BYU, then absorbed a 91-33 road loss to the Cougars two days later. The 58-point loss was the school’s most lopsided since joining Division I in 1979. Wing Duda Sanadze, who scored 21 points in an 88-52 loss to GU last month, leads USD at 11.7 ppg, followed by guard Vasa Pusica’s 8.1. U-Hi grad Brett Bailey is averaging 7.7 points and 5 rebounds. Jito Kok, who joins Sanadze as the team’s only seniors, ranks second all-time in the WCC with 261 blocks. - Jim Meehan
