Morning links: Ike Iroegbu raises his game

Ike Iroegbu has transformed himself into one of the country's most efficient shooters.

He makes more than half of his 3-point attempts. But you may not have noticed if you were paying attention to the last few games, when Iroegbu's acrobatic layups and scoop shots at the rim have drawn focus.

We've got a story in the paper today about the Washington State guard's improved scoring abilities, as well as our Four Corners preview of this weekend's games.

In case you missed it, Ted Miller wrote a story yesterday that examines some troubling trends that could spell trouble for the Pac-12 going forward.

There will be some good Pac-12 basketball today, highlighted most likely by No. 21 USC's trip to Oregon. But the weekend actually started on Wednesday, as happens so often these days. UCLA pulled even in Pac-12 play with its win at Oregon State, while Washington probably played its best game yet to beat Colorado in Seattle.
