Big Sky Men's Basketball

Sacramento State Hornets (8-9, 1-5)

at Idaho Vandals (12-8, 4-3)

Thursday, Jan. 28, 7 p.m. | Cowan Spectrum, Moscow

Watch: WatchBigSky.com

Outlook: A patch of sidewalk ice has the potential to derail Idaho’s season. Top scorer Victor Sanders slipped on ice on Friday night and is now out three to seven weeks with a broken right hand. The Vandals take their 4-3 Big Sky Conference record without starting point guard Perrion Callandret as well. Injuries mean opportunities for former bench warmers. Pat Ingram, a junior college transfer point guard, is likely to be the first guard off the bench. True freshman Nick Blair will provide backcourt depth via a guard role from his small forward spot after a career-high 16 points at Montana State. - Sean Kramer
