Back with the day-after post from Gonzaga’s 88-51 trampling of Santa Clara.
Same drill as always. First, the links: S-R gamer, John Blanchette’s column on GU’s decade of WCC rule, photos, A.P., WCC recaps can be found here, and here’s an Oregonian article on San Francisco, GU’s opponent Saturday, losing at Portland (Dior Lowhorn scores seven points in the first three minutes, then shutout the rest of the way?) While we’re at it, here’s an S-I article on foreign players making an impact at U.S. schools (much of it centers on GU’s Elias Harris).

Good Sunday morning. Had my morning scrap with the computer (explorer can’t connect to this web site), but I can finally post the day-after offering from Wake Forest’s 77-75 win over Gonzaga.
Lots more on Elias Harris, Kong, etc. below, but first the links. Here’s my game story, John Blanchette was spot-on with Harris’ ejection in his column, the A.P. gamer, the Winston Salem-Journal article, and S-R game photos.

I’ve traveled home, had the requisite number of computer issues, so I’ll take another stab at getting this post off the ground. Lots of stuff to get to after Gonzaga’s 78-73 win over San Francisco. Read on for the day-after USF post.
These 8 p.m. starts aren’t real conducive to gathering post-game notes and quotes, but we did get about 10 minutes of interview time following Gonzaga’s 93-78 win over Portland on Thursday in an entertaining men’s basketball game.
Here are links to the Oregonian’s Ryan White and Jim Beseda, and the Portland Tribune’s gamer and column.
Read on my day after post.
It was apparent from the outset this one was going to lack style points. That was never more evident than seeing the scoreboard read Gonzaga 16, San Diego 9 — with 4:15 left in the first half.
Still, Gonzaga’s 64-47 victory showed the Zags can successfully adjust to the various styles and tempos they’ve seen from opponents. More below in my day-after post.
Let’s begin the day-after Saint Mary’s post in-house with John Blanchette’s column, which neatly puts Gonzaga’s 69-62 victory over the Gaels into perspective, and the S-R gamer. Here are additional links from the Contra Costa Times, Seattle Times and A.P.
Here’s a link to S-R photos of the game.
