Spokane snagged its second road win of the season and evened its record at 3-3 with a 56-48 victory over Jacksonville on Saturday.
Spokane led by as many as 21 points, but the Sharks rallied in the second half to close within 49-48. Beau Bell's interception, Spokane's fourth of the game, sealed the victory with 10 seconds left.

Spokane returns from a bye week with a long road trip and a key AFL game against Jacksonville tonight. Kickoff is at 4 Pacific time.
Here's my preview that ran in today's S-R and another in the Florida Times-Union. In-game updates at twitter.com/SRjimm.
One clarification: There was a mix-up reporting the status of former WSU lineman Andrew Roxas between the Shock and the AFL office earlier this week. Roxas is on the practice squad (not released as reported earlier this week).
Spokane, which didn't take four starters on the trip to rest up for the playoffs, dropped its regular-season finale to Jacksonville 75-56 on Friday.

I waited for the end of the Arizona-Iowa game to post the Shock game story. The Shock lost to Jacksonville 64-49 on Friday and I’ve posted a recap below.
Meanwhile, Iowa blasted Arizona 67-47 in Phoenix. The setback cost the Rattlers a home playoff game (Milwaukee is unable to host because the Bradley Center is undergoing renovations). Now, fourth-seeded Arizona will visit Spokane next Friday while No. 3 Chicago will entertain No. 2 Milwaukee. Yes that’s strange, because the Rush lost the tiebreaker to the Iron to determine the Midwest Division champ.
UPDATE: Upon further review, the AFL has decided Milwaukee will be able to host Chicago. More here and here.
In the American Conference, No. 1 Jacksonville will entertain No. 4 Orlando. Late in the telecast of the Shock-Sharks game, the NFL Network announced it will televise the Jacksonville-Orlando game. No. 2 Tulsa will entertain No. 3 Tampa Bay.

Back with a preview of Spokane’s game with No. 3 Jacksonville on Friday. Here’s a link to the article that will run in tomorrow’s paper. From Jacksonville, it sounds like quarterback Aaron Garcia will be available to play. .
Some other AFL news: It sounds like the Bossier/Shreveport franchise might be bound for New Orleans and Alabama might be relocating to Nashville or Georgia. More here.
Kyle Rowley tossed seven touchdown passes to Raul Vijil as the Spokane Shock defeated Jacksonville 67-57 in an AFL thriller Saturday night.
Vijil’s seven TD receptions is one short of Antwone Savage’s franchise record, set in 2007. The two connected three times in the fourth quarter alone as Spokane erased a 50-47 deficit.
The victory, Spokane’s fourth in a row, could move the Shock into the top spot in next week’s poll. Spokane entered the game No. 3 while Jacksonville was No. 1. Milwaukee was No. 2 and the Iron routed Dallas to improve to 6-2.
