Beau Baldwin, the third-year head coach of Eastern Washington University's NCAA Division I national champion football team, announced the signing of 20 high school recruits to letters of intent on Wednesday.

The University of Idaho announced a class of 22 players who have signed letters of intent (now including the three who signed in January, Dominique Blackman, A.J. Annelus and Ryan Edwards, all of whom have been officially announced). This also includes Dion Bass, a 5-foot-9 corner from California and brother of transfer running back Ryan Bass. Dion had reportedly been considering Nebraska but stuck with his choice to come to Moscow.

On the eve of signing day, we've got a look at the University of Idaho's recruiting efforts in what will be Robb Akey's fifth class. Much is unknown at this point — Akey will hold a press conference at noon tomorrow — but one late verbal commit we know about is Ian Silbernagel, a QB/safety from McKay High in Oregon.

Among those expected to sign with the reigning national championsh is Idaho's Gatorade and 4A player of the year Cody McCarthy who — according to this story in the Idaho Statesman — announced his intentions to become an Eagle on his Facebook page.
