There is no such thing as a sure thing in arena football, as Spokane found out the hard way Saturday night.
Spokane blew a 13-point lead — with possession of the ball — in the final minute. The result: The Shock lost a game it seemingly had won as Orlando pulled out an 83-82 victory at the Arena.

Spokane earned its first road win of the season with a 70-58 victory over No. 2 Orlando on Saturday.
Spokane's defense made four stops and quarterback Kyle Rowley accounted for 10 touchdowns (eight TD passes, two scoring runs) as the Shock improved to 2-4 heading into a home showdown with No. 1 Arizona. The Rattlers (6-0) edged Utah 67-61 in overtime.

Spokane needs to start winning some games to recover from a 1-4 start, but the Shock will be underdogs for at least the next two weeks, beginning with Saturday's visit to No. 2 Orlando. Next week Spokane entertains No .1 Arizona.

In yet another wild Arena Football League game, Spokane rallied in the fourth quarter to pull out a 53-52 road win over Orlando on Saturday.
The second-ranked Shock (7-2) share the AFL’s top record with No. 1 Jacksonville, a team Spokane defeated 67-57 last month.
