One short-lived Spokane institution of higher education was Spokane College, a four-year liberal arts college that once sat at 29th and Grand on the South Hill. It struggled from its inception and closed before WWII. Does anyone remember the building (see arrow in aerial  photo above) that sat on 29th, between Hatch and Garfield? It was torn down in 1969.  Any memories and recollections appreciated.
