Party like it’s 1956

Longhorn Barbecue is celebrating its 60th anniversary in the Pacific Northwest.

Through Thursday, both Spokane locations are offering specialty items off of the chain’s original 1956 menu.

Purchase one menu item at today’s pricing, and enjoy a second item at 1956 pricing.

Menu options include barbecue dinners such as the Wagon Master with five different meats and two sides at the 1956 price of $3.95. Today’s price is $32.50.

Other eats include barbecue sandwiches under $2 and Texas chili at 45 cents.

Longhorn Barbecue opened in Texas in 1946. After 10 years, the business moved to the Pacific Northwest. Longhorn offers Southern pit-style barbecue.
