Spokane’s Fresh Nature Foods has debuted a new line of hummus made from Palouse-grown green chickpeas.

There are three varieties: varieties: classic, falafel and jalapeño.

Fresh Nature Foods started as a family farm. Today, it specializes in harvesting, processing and marketing green chickpeas. Rather than using dried khaki-colored chickpeas, Fresh Nature Foods uses chickpeas that are harvested while still fresh and green.
