The Vox Box

Serious life lessons…

Oddly enough, this food weblog caused me to laugh until I was convinced that all control of my tear ducts had been lost...-...almost life-threatening.

Maybe it was the name: A Hamburger Today; Burgers. With Ketchup, Mustard - and Opinion.

Or maybe the greeting it offers as you enter the page..."Hola, Burgermeister!" (It just really makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside.)

No, wait - I think that this blogs' appeal is found in it's elegant viewer-poetry, the 'Hamburger Haiku':

dark brown salty crust
right amount of pink inside
sizzle juicy drip

What are some blogs/websites (other than the always-awesome VOX...:D) that you guys find entertaining? Anywhere in the WWW that you spend time?

In 2006, then-editor Steve Smith of The Spokesman-Review had the idea of starting a publication for an often forgotten audience: teenagers. The Vox Box was a continuation of the Vox, an all-student staffed newspaper published by The Spokesman-Review. High school student journalists who staffed the Vox made all content decisions as they learn about the trade of journalism. This blog's mission was to give students an opportunity to publish their voices. The Vox Box and the Vox wrapped up in June 2009, but you can follow former staffers' new blog at http://voxxiez.blogspot.com.
