Wallace Blues Festival
July 10-12. Various blues artists and bands around town, inside and outside, playing afternoon and evenings, for all ages. Features 17 acts beginning Friday night at 7 p.m. at The Red Light Garage with Polly O’Keary & The Rhythm Method and 9 p.m. with Sammy Eubanks; on the Cedar Street Stage between the Metals and Dayrock bars: 7-9 p.m., Sara Brown Band and at 9:30 p.m., Mason Stone Band; at the Fainting Goat, 6:30-10 p.m., John Kelly. Music all day Saturday from noon and going on three stages until midnight with headliners Polly O’Keary & The Rhythm Method, The Ben Rice Band, Studebaker John, Too Slim & The Taildraggers, Kenny Neal and Sammy Eubanks & The All Star Jam. The festival continues Sunday from 8-11 a.m. at the Elks Lodge with the Blues Brunch with The Sara Brown Band. Pancake breakfast on Sunday from 8-10 a.m. for $10 at the Elks Lodge.
