Spokane Youth Symphony

Led by Artistic Director Julián Gómez Giraldo, and conductors John Marshall and Heather Montgomery, performs their season finale, “Around the World.” The program includes “The Story of the Calendar Prince” from Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade, and special performances by the winners of the Spokane Youth Symphony’s Concerto Competition. The evening is capped off when the Spokane Symphony Chorale joins the Youth Symphony in Durufle’s Requiem. A special Conductor’s Talk will be held for audience members at 3:15 p.m. by artistic director Giraldo to enhance audience appreciation of the pieces and the process of working with this group of amazing young musicians.
