Sandpoint Fly Fishing Film Festival
April 19, the Fly Fishing Film Tour is a focal point of the films featured in this year’s tour. Sometimes the greatest adventures can be found in your own backyard or an urban corridor. In addition to the usual assortment of fascinating destinations like Thailand, Bolivia, and Georgia (the country), there will be great segments from Washington D.C., the Midwest, the Pacific Northwest and the Rocky Mountains.
April 20, the International Fly Fishing Film Festival will be making its Sandpoint debut. The film consists of short and feature length films produced by professional and amateur filmmakers from all corners of the glove, showcasing the passion, lifestyle and culture of fly-fishing. From enormous trout in New Zealand to giant Sheefish in Alaska, the variety of film at this event is sure to pique the interest of all anglers.
All proceeds from the films will benefit the Panhandle Chapter of Trout Unlimited and the Pend Oreille Water Festival. Shows 7 p.m. nightly.
