Archeology Road Show
A program featuring artifacts from the largest historical archeological Investigation in Idaho and the Pacific Northwest. Sponsored by the library and the Idaho State Historical Society, the presentation will examine items uncovered as part of the Sand Creek Byway Archeological Project at Sandpoint. Archaeologists will present an artifact every three minutes, revealing details and asking bigger questions that shape the history of Sandpoint and aid archaeologists to identify and interpret common and not so common artifacts found throughout the American West. Presented in observance of Idaho Archeology and Historic Preservation Month.
