July 25-Aug. 4. A musical in two acts. Act One is set in late 19th century Vienna, Josephine and Alfred have become extremely bored with their comfortable lifestyles and assume the roles of struggling poet and a working class woman for a weekend in the country. Based on the short story by Arthur Schnitzler.
Act Two returns to modern day and is set in The Hamptons. Two married couples stay in a rented summer cottage and all too soon find themselves facing the possibility of an illicit affair. Based on the play by Jules Renard. Performances are Thursdays-Saturdays at 7:30 p.m.; Sunday matinees at 2 p.m.
