Two Mouth Lakes Hike
This hike showcases two beautiful, unique lakes in the Selkirk range. Beginning in the Slide Creek valley, hikers quickly climb to reach a flat alpine bench on which these two granite-floored lakes are situated. The fragile meadow there, which forms a narrow wildlife migration corridor connecting northern and southern habitat in the Selkirk Crest, is host to a wide array of wildlife including caribou and grizzly.
This is an all-day hike promising terrific views of Harrison Peak and good chances for spotting wildlife.
