Geocaching along the Pack River Delta
This family-oriented activity introduces hikers to the popular sport of geocaching and allows them to seek out the hidden treasures of our region. Participants will enjoy visiting an oxbow slough and the Pack River, crossing a bridge over Trout Creek, and experiencing the spectacular view of the Pack River Delta.
Hikers will first gather at the East Bonner County Library in Sandpoint for an indoor session, then travel to the Trout Creek segment of the Pend Oreille Wildlife Management Area. After an outdoor picnic, hikers will be divided into teams to search for geocaches.
