Beehive Lakes Scramble Hike
This is a challenging but rewarding trip into some of the most spectacular terrain in the Idaho Selkirks. Only fit and experienced hikers should plan to join in on this physically demanding journey.
Participants will begin hiking on Trail 217, leading to Harrison Lake. From Harrison Lake, the group will travel off-trail, scrambling across boulder fields, ridge lines and other difficult terrain until you reach Beehive Lake. Along the way you will pass Little Harrison Lake—another stunning mountain gem. At Beehive Lake you will hike down Trail 279, completing the 12 mile journey.
Suitable for individuals 14 years and older with considerable hiking experience
