Spokane Symphony Classics 1: Opening Night with Silver-Garburg Duo
The Spokane Symphony launches its 2014-2015 season with a program of Romantic masterpieces. The concert begins with the haunting beauty of Chris Rogerson’s Noble Pond and culminates with Brahms’s last symphony, his intensely passionate Fourth. We also welcome back the internationally acclaimed Silver-Garburg Piano Duo. Listen in awe as the married couple’s unique chemistry unites with the orchestra in two concertos for two pianos - from Bach’s eternal beauty to Mendelssohn’s dazzling brilliance. Two performances, Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m.
