Hula 101: Expressions of Joy
The first Hawaiian people worshipped the One Creator God using His Hawaiian name, ‘Io,’ with their native dance, the Hula. They did this in celebration when they first arrived in Hawaii from the Marquesas Islands. The main purpose of worshipping through Hula is to personally reflect and express one’s devotion to God (Psalm 149:3). Participants will grow and benefit spiritually and physically from this class. Registration required.
