Coming up: Washington State Cougars

COMING UP: Tonight vs. Arizona State, 8 (Pac-12 Networks); Saturday vs. Arizona, 7 p.m. (Pac-12 Networks)

OUTLOOK: The Cougars finally won a road game last week, beating Oregon State 71-68. But a victory over ASU would be viewed as a much larger accomplishment. The Sun Devils have reinvented themselves under coach Herb Sendek this season, getting out in transition more often and playing man-to-man defense instead of zone. The addition of freshman point guard Jahii Carson (17.3 points, 5.5 assists) has sparked ASU’s hot start. WSU’s opponent on Saturday, Arizona, fell from No. 6 to No. 8 in the AP Top 25 poll after losing at home to UCLA last week.
