In Pac-12 basketball news … Arizona's walk-on-the-edge style of play finally caught up with it, as Oregon became the first team to defeat the Wildcats this season. … It was another close loss for Utah on Thursday, as the Utes fell 57-53 to UCLA. It was a small victory that the Bruins were able to get to the arena. … Colorado got its first conference win by beating USC, 66-60. … Arizona State's strong start continued with a 72-62 win at Oregon State.

All for now.
