Wednesday spring links

COUGARS

FROM PULLMAN — Not a lot going on today on the Palouse, as the football team is off for a day before returning to the field for its fourth practice of the spring. We have links and notes from yesterday's practice, so read on.

Starting next week, we'll hold our live chats on Wednesday. But since we've only seen one practice so far, we're going to hold off for today. … We had a story in today's newspaper about the increased depth and competition on WSU's offensive line this spring, and also had a blog post after last night's practice with notes, quotes and observations. … Howie Stalwick has a note detailing that, as has been said previously, athletic director Bill Moos will meet with men's basketball coach Ken Bone later this week to discuss the future of the program.

Around the Pac-12 … Arizona forward Solomon Hill — yes, he's finally a senior — had to work harder for his spoils than a former teammate. … Oregon's 3-point shooting has been outstanding in the postseason. … Colorado coach Tad Boyle isn't eager to leave Boulder. … A Utah receiver has been running in the hills to get in shape. A Utes defensive end has a new name, but the same game. … USC receiver Marqise Lee will sit and watch at the Trojans' Pro Day as he awaits his junior season. The Trojans are moving on from last season's disastrous finish. … Arizona State relies heavily on one of its primary recruiters. … An Arizona safety finds the Wildcats' defense to his liking.

That's all for now.
