A busy week ends with links

FROM PULLMAN — Plenty of happenings on the WSU front yesterday, though today figures to be much quieter. There's a lot to read for now, though. Get your coffee/orange juice/Tang ready, and read on.

First, there's the matter of Ken Bone and his future as WSU's coach, which you already know about. But Bone held his end-of-season teleconference yesterday, out of which we wrote this story for the newspaper. Also spoke with athletic director Bill Moos, whose comments you can read in this blog post. … There was spring football practice yesterday, too, and afterward we wrote this blog post recapping the day's highlights, and wrote this story about junior-college transfer Ivan McLennan, who figures to help the Cougars as a pass-rushing buck linebacker this season. … Bud Withers has this story on the Bone situation in The Seattle Times, and Howie Stalwick writes about the same topic in the Kitsap Sun. … More from CougCenter on the Air Raid playbook.

Around the Pac-12 … Arizona gave No. 2 seed Ohio State a tight game last night, but ultimately lost, 73-70, in the Sweet 16. The Wildcats' season ended before they wanted, but it turned out OK, all things considered. … Previewing Oregon's Sweet 16 game against No. 1 seed Louisville. There's a bunch more Oregon coverage from the Oregonian, which you can read here. And more from the Register-Guard. … California's Allen Crabbe received a postseason honor. … A Utah running back is proving his worth. … A USC offensive lineman is ready to give it another go in 2013 after struggling last season. … An Arizona State running back is trying to contribute this season. … Colorado is working on a multi-year contract for its defensive coordinator. … Looking at Oregon State's defensive line.

That's all for now. WSU is off today, then returns to the practice field Saturday at 10 a.m. There won't be a scrimmage, though.
