WSU ‘s football operations building

Washington State University dreamed and spent big on its football operations building in the hope that the lavish facility will help the Cougars compete with their better-financed opponents. The football team will eat, dress, lift weights, train and receive medical attention in the $61 million, five-story, 84,192-square-foot facility, which stands behind Martin Stadium’s west end zone. Mr. Allison goes to Olympia

Former Washington State football player Jeremiah Allison has designs on law school in the near future. But for now he’s passing the time serving in the Washington State legislature as a session aide to Sen. Michael Baumgartner (R–Spokane).

Cougars tour USS America

Washington State coach Mike Leach and Minnesota coach Tracy Claeys each addressed the teams assembled aboard the USS America (LHA-6), before the players and coaches broke into groups to tour the aircraft carrier, which is currently based at Naval Base San Diego.
