Statement: Mike is a fourth generation Wenatchee Valley resident.  Mike and his wife Mary have been married for 31 years and have three grown children, Abe, Cassandra and Maureen.  He is in his fifth term serving the citizens of the 12th Legislative District. Mike's leadership in bringing Eastern Washington issues to Olympia has been recognized throughout the State as evident by his numerous legislative awards.  He has a strong working relationship with Legislators across the entire State of Washington. Mike is currently the ranking member on both the Transportation and State Government Committees and has held two leadership positions.
