M 2011 Idaho General Election

Patrick Mitchell

A candidate for Council Seat 3, City of Coeur d'Alene in the 2011 Idaho General Election

City: Coeur dAlene, Idaho

Occupation: Freelance marketer

On this race: Mitchell, 49, ran for mayor in 1993 at age 32. He says the boat launch and ball fields on McEuen Field should stay and the underground parking is too expensive. But the rest of the plan to remake the park should be implemented piece by piece. He wants to see what can be done to revitalize East Sherman Avenue. He’d also like to find a way to bring more high-paying jobs to the community. “I was born and raised here, I’m a good listener. I would like to help the community and I’m not afraid to ask questions.”
