Education: Graduated from Shorecrest High School in Shoreline, Washington, 1971. Earned bachelor’s in economics from Washington State University in 1976. Earned law degree from Gonzaga University in 1989. Work experience: Worked in the Farm Credit Bureau for more than 10 years before becoming an attorney. Worked as an attorney at Witherspoon, Kelly, Davenport and Toole for about year after law school. Worked for about a year as a public defender for the City of Spokane. Worked as attorney at Feltman, Gebhardt, Eymann and Jones from 1993 to 1999. Worked as attorney at Eymann, Allison, Hunter and Jones, 2000-2005. Opened private practice in 2006. Served as judge pro tem for about seven years. Appointed Spokane County District Court judge by county commissioners in 2013. Political experience: Served as U.S. Rep. Cathy McMorris Rogers’ district director for more than a year until appointed judge. Family: Married. Has two adult children.
