Action from Saturday's game between the University of Idaho and Boise State in Boise. The Broncos won 63-25.
BOISE – Quite a week for Idaho Vandals pride. Coach Robb Akey pushed his Indignation Meter into the red, snorting at the “homage” he was supposed to pay Boise State and how it had been suggested – it was never revealed by whom – that the Vandals shouldn’t bother showing up Saturday, on the off chance they might actually put on a good show and cost the conference some BCS swag.
BOISE – There is one thing a team must do when playing the country’s sixth-ranked team. It must play error free. Idaho did anything but in the early going against Boise State and again found itself in a deep hole with the game barely underway. The Vandals continued to stumble and by day’s end lost 63-25 to the Broncos on a chilly Saturday at Bronco Stadium.
Kellen Moore threw four touchdown passes to Austin Pettis and tied a career high with five overall, and the supposedly endangered, No. 6 Boise State Broncos overwhelmed Idaho 63-25 on Saturday.
