Results of the Battle of the Border Junior Golf Tournament at The Coeur d'Alene Resort Golf Course on Wednesday, August 24.  Seventy golfers ages 10 - 18 represented cities from throughout Idaho and Washington. With three age divisions for boys and girls the winners are as follows: Boys 16-18: Joel Christensen  (68) - Liberty Lake, WA  
Girls 16-18: Amy Hasenoehrl  (72) - Lewiston, ID
Boys 13-15: Tie: Frank Garber (67) - Kirkland, WA and Brian Mogg (67) - Sammamish, WA   
Girls 13-15: 1st Place: Lydia Kim (72) - Spokane, WA
Boys 12 & Under: 1st Place: Max Toenjes (82) - Sandpoint, ID
The next event, The Avondale Fall Classic will be in Hayden Lake, ID on Sunday, September 25 at 11:00 a.m.
